Here's one mapmaker's estimate of the LA region's shoreline after the melting of all the world's glaciers, which some have projected as inevitable given current trends. The sea would cover all of lowland LA County including Whittier Narrows, with a shoreline somewhere near the current Valley Boulevard - Mission Road alignment.

The Good: TC and most of the foothill communities from Altadena to Upland would become beachfront property, so it's probably a good idea to put Mom & Dad's house into a trust for the future.

The Bad: A temperature increase great enough to melt all the world's surface ice would probably be accompanied by the decline of civilization and the extinction of humanity.

The Ugly (AKA The Stupid): Many people think there is no link between the burning of fossil fuels and the indicated changes and that life will go on forever as in the past, and lots of them are currently serving as senior elective and appointed officials of the US government.
