Back in the day, girls' sports were almost an oxymoron. "Young ladies" avoided sweating no matter how exceptional their talents. The boys' teams, looking for a macho monicker, had become the Rams back when TC Jr. HS was part of the Pasadena district. I'm curious to know if there's any history of seeking an alternative name for girls' teams, and how that process has evolved in the nearly 50 years since I and my classmates departed the campus. If someone has compiled the story, it would also be a good news feature.
