Picking up the thread from the news in the new Forum, several alumni have written in answer to an inquiry I sent out over the weekend. Most have had positive news. What's your story?

Janice Helmer '68 has rightly pointed out (see News Log) that our news item on "San Diego" fires may have seemed to exclude other parts of the Southland affected by fires. So herewith my assurances that we love even those alumni who don't live In San Diego. Tell your story here or as a comment on the News article. RC

Lee Seitz '75: I do live in northern San Diego County but all is fine here. The fire burned close but not close enough to do any damage. Unfortunately, others in nearby Fallbrook, Bonsall, Camp Pendleton, Escondido and Temecula were not as fortunate. There was a tremendous loss of homes, vehicles and property that will likely amount to many millions of dollars. Thanks for inquiring. I hope my fellow alumni are all safe and did not suffer any damages.
